ClosedWhat can I do with these reports?
  • The Detailed Comparison report analyzes the scenarios to determine the effect of risk on a completed plan.
  • The Scenario Probability report performs a Monte Carlo analysis for the selected scenario. This analysis is made up of three parts:
    • Plan Probability analysis: This graph displays the goal coverage percentage for each trial that was generated for the Monte Carlo analysis.
    • Portfolio Variability Projection: This graph displays the assumed rate of return each year for the actual plan.
    • Investment Capital analysis: This graph displays the ending net worth value each year for the actual plan.
  • The Longevity report analyzes the effects of clients outliving their specified life expectancies on the selected scenario.

Procedures

ClosedHow do I use the Detailed Comparison report?
  1. From any page in the Scenario Manager, select Scenario Reports and choose Compare Scenarios from the menu.
    Note: Scenario Reports are not always available depending on the goal and your settings.
  2. Select two scenarios to compare from the Scenario A and Scenario B menus.
  3. When you are satisfied with these options, click OK.
ClosedHow do I use the Scenario Probability report?
  1. From any page in the Scenario Manager, select Scenario Reports and choose Scenario Probability from the menu.
    Note: Scenario Reports are not always available depending on the goal and your settings.
  2. Select a number of trials to use for the Monte Carlo analysis.
    • The minimum number of trials is 100.
    • The maximum number of trials is 1,000.
    • The recommended number of trials is 500.
  3. When you are satisfied with these options, click OK.
ClosedHow do I use the Longevity report?
  1. From any page in the Scenario Manager, select Scenario Reports and choose Longevity from the menu.
    Note: Scenario Reports are not always available depending on the goal and your settings.
  2. You can use the <client>'s Longevity Age and the <co-client>'s Longevity Age sliders to modify the graph.
