Planning Objectives

ClosedWhat is the purpose of the workflow process?
  • Use the workflow process to move a draft plan through a series of steps to Approved status. The steps in the process depend on your planner type, the plan contents, and your permissions.
    Note: You may be required to generate a report before the workflow buttons appear.

Procedures

ClosedHow do I propose a plan?
  • From the Status page, click the Propose button. NaviPlan changes the status to Proposed.
ClosedHow do I approve or reject a plan?
  1. To approve a plan, click the Approve button. NaviPlan attempts to approve the plan. If the plan cannot be approved, the plan status remains unchanged, and a reason for the failure appears. If there are no constraints preventing the plan from being approved, the plan status is updated to Approved.
  2. To reject a plan, click Reject.

Screen Notes

ClosedAnalysis
  • Refers to the name of the plan. This name is used in all documents and on all pages to differentiate the plan from other—similar—plans.
ClosedWorkflow Actions
  • Following, is a list of options that may or may not appear on this page depending on your user permission levels. You may also be required to generate a report before all workflow options appear.
    Note: If you believe that you should have access to an option listed here but do not, contact your system administrator.

Button Action
Propose Use when the plan is ready for review. Changes the status of the plan to Proposed.
Reject The plan’s status is not updated. You can go to the Reviewer’s Notes page to determine why the plan was not approved. When a plan that you propose is not approved, you can duplicate it, update it with the changes suggested in the review notes, and then propose the revised plan for approval.
Approve Use when Central Plan Review (CPR) has finished reviewing an assessment or a plan. Changes the status of the assessment or plan to Approved.
Mark as Delivered Use when you are ready to archive an Approved plan in its current state for use in a future Progress Plan. Changes the status of the plan to Delivered.
