For what types of assets can I define asset class weightings?

Procedures
How do I define asset class weightings?
Do one of the following:
- If the asset belongs to a single asset class, select that asset class from the Asset Class Weightings menu.
- If the asset is weighted in multiple asset classes, follow these steps:
- select Manual Classification from the Asset Class Weightings menu.
- Assign percentages to various asset classes until the total percentage equals 100%.
- If you know the symbol for the asset you want to modify, follow these steps:
- enter it in the Symbol field
- click Classify.
- If you do not know the symbol for the asset you want to modify and would like to search for it, follow these steps:
- Select Manual Classification from the Asset Class Weightings menu.
- Select Use Asset Classifier Search from the Asset Class Weightings Options container.
- Enter as much information as you have into the fields under the Search container, then click Search.
Note: You can use an asterisk (*) as a wildcard. For example, to search for all assets that being with "br" enter br* into the Ticker Symbol field. - Select the appropriate asset from the Results container.
